The following are guidelines for what is and is not acceptable for individual webpages at the University of Saskatchewan. There are also general guidelines and departmental guidelines for webpages.
- Individual webpages must not violate any of the laws of Saskatchewan or Canada.
- Individual webpages must not violate any existing University of Saskatchewan policy. Refer to the U of S Policy Handbook, and the Policy Interpretation Guide.
- Use of computer facilities to develop and maintain all campus webpages must adhere to the University of Saskatchewan Computer Use Policy.
- Computing facilities at the University of Saskatchewan are to be used in the conduct of duties and responsibilities associated with working and studying at the University. Other uses, such as conducting commerce not authorized by the University of Saskatchewan, are not permitted. All faculty, staff and students shall abide by the security measures in place. Examples of Prohibited Activities
- University equipment cannot be used to conduct commerce not authorized by the University of Saskatchewan. You are not allowed to use your individual web space to operate a business or to provide web space for a company. Use a commercial web hosting service instead.
- Individual webpages cannot contain racist or other material that would be considered a hate crime under the criminal code of Canada.
- Individual webpages cannot contain sexually harassing material.
- The University of Saskatchewan logo cannot be used on individual webpages without the permission of the University.
- Content on webpages cannot violate copyright laws.

- Links to other webpages you are interested in.
- Links to pages for organizations you are a member of.
