Personal Web Pages

The machine homepage.usask.ca provides personal web page storage to all students at the University of Saskatchewan. More detailed documentation, including methods of access from machines other than those located in the Learning Commons, is available here.

The Learning Commons workstations automatically mount your personal web pages directory as Drive W:. Files on this drive can be used in the same manner as any other hard drive.

A web-based file management utility is also available, allowing access to your files from any web browser. Authentication via NSID is required when using this utility.

Tips

1. Name your starting page index.html. This is the default file the webserver will return when a specific filename is not given
2. To view your web pages, use the URL http://homepage.usask.ca/~abc123, where abc123 is your Network Services ID (NSID)
