       UofS Global Partners: Call for Proposals 2006

 

Consider applying for Global Partners Funding

 

Global Partners seeks to support closer, mutually-beneficial relationships between the University of Saskatchewan and partner institutions in developing countries.  Academic units, student groups, faculty and staff from all UofS colleges are invited to submit proposals for up to $10,000 of funding to support projects under the Global Partners program.  Application deadline: March 6 2006.

Attend a Presentation on Global Partners, February 3rd

 

You’re invited to a presentation on Global Partners organized as part of the International Week program.  The 2004-05 award recipients, Andrei Smolyakov, Dept. of Physics, and Chris Brooks, Dept. of Computer Science, will describe their projects with, respectively, the Kurchatov Institute, Moscow and the University of West Indies, Trinidad.  Bob Stock will provide an overview of Global Partners and answer questions about the program.
