As a sequel to last year's workshop on expedited review, this half-day PRE workshop addresses
some of the important boundary challenges to research ethics norms in the Tri-Council Policy
Statement: Ethical Conduct of Research Involving Humans -- risks of harm, the definition of
research, ethics review process from different disciplinary perspectives. Will the challenges
remain as such, or how will they become opportunities for enhancing optimal community use of
the TCPS?
