The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) in partnership with the National Secretariat on Homelessness (NSH), wishes to inform all CAURA members of a second competition for the Homelessness and Diversity Issues in Canada program.  In this second competition, the initiative offers a single funding mechanism: strategic research grants.

The program will encourage multidisciplinary research, communication of research results and student training that will increase understanding of the magnitude, characteristics and causes of homelessness as it relates to diversity in Canada.  Application deadline - October 1, 2004.
