The objective of the CMHC External Research Program (ERP) is to encourage and enable researchers in the private and non-profit sectors to put forward and carry out relevant, innovative, and high quality housing research projects. Under the Program, financial contributions are made annually to support research investigations into important questions, problems, and issues affecting Canadian housing.
