NSERC's Discovery Grant
LOI Workshop

Research Services (OVPR) is organizing a workshop on
NSERC's Discovery Grant LOI (Form 180) [NOTE: due at NSERC August
1st, 2005]. If you are not familiar with the LOI process, you
should plan to attend. In the workshop, we will discuss the
following:
- the purpose of
Form 180
- selecting the
appropriate GSC and Referees
- a sample
LOI
- using the
electronic form and electronic submission - we will walk through the
process.
There are only 20 seats available in the room. So,
please register as soon as you decide to attend. If you have Admin. Personnel
who looks after this in your department, please encourage them to register.
However, preference will be given to First and Second time faculty applicants to
NSERC's Discovery Program.
Please register by sending an email to Amit Shukla, Research Facilitator (Natural Science
and Engineering). In case, after receiving your registration confirmation, you
decide not to attend, please inform Amit ASAP so that the next person on the
list can be invited to the workshop.
