automatic removal of inactive NSERC forms - NSERC's On-line Systemwill not be available on Saturday, December 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (EST)
Title: Message
Please note that NSERC's On-line
System will not be available on During this time,
all electronic forms, with the exception of "active" Personal Data Forms
(Forms 100) that have been inactive for a period of 18 months will be removed
from My Portfolio page if no further updates are made. Should users of
the On-line System wish to keep Form(s) for future reference, we suggest that
they save the PDF (Portable Document Format) version of the Forms in another
storage area (e.g., the hard drive of a personal
computer). Note: An "active" Form
100 is the primary version of a Personal Data Form that users may access through
their My Portfolio page of the eSubmission system. These "active" forms will be
deleted after a period of eight years, based on the last modification date.
NSERC's new procedure
on electronic data retention periods stipulates that electronic forms will be
retained in NSERC's Web database for a period of 18
months. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your cooperation.
