The 2008 Harry
Toop Memorial Science for Saskatchewan Lecture will be held on Wednesday,
February 11, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Thomas More Auditorium on campus.
Dr. Drew Kershen, University of Oklahoma
Professor of Law, will present a lecture entitled:
"Agriculture and Science: Vision and Reality for the
Future"
The lecture will compare and contrast competing visions about the relationship
between agriculture and science. These visions include sustainable intensive
agriculture and sustainable low-technology agriculture.
