the Commercial Potential of your Research?
If
you’ve conducted research in the natural sciences or engineering at the
Master’s or PhD level, and you have some ideas about how to transform
that research into a commercial product or service, you may be in line to win
one of the Innovation Challenge Awards.
The U of S & Innovation
Place Award—Two $500 Awards
Two
applicants are accepted from each Canadian University for the national
competition. The first step is to apply through the Industry Liaison Office.
The two University of Saskatchewan finalists will represent the University in
the national competition and will receive:
ü Cash award of $500;
ü An invitation to the Celebrate Success gala
awards ceremony, hosted by the Greater
Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce—SABEX Awards on May 18th, 2010 where winners’ names will be
announced.
To be Eligible you
Must
ü
have
conducted research within the natural sciences or engineering at the
Master’s or PhD level;
ü have submitted or expect to submit,
your thesis between May 15, 2009 and May 14, 2010 ; and
ü be a Canadian citizen or permanent
resident in Canada at the time of nomination.
