Genome Canada Funding
Update - Two New Competitions for 2010
We are pleased to report that Genome Canada
has released further information regarding the $75 million it received for
genomics funding in the 2010 Federal Budget and $9 million of existing
additional funds.
Genome Canada will hold two new
competitions for funding this year. One for $24 million in funding is
aimed to support S&T Innovation Centres, the other will allocate up to $60
million for a combined open/targeted competition for large scale genomics

To
assist regional researchers considering applications for these two
competitions,
Dr.
Reno Pontarollo and his team will host individual meetings with potential
participants. This meeting format will replace the previously announced
general information session.
