The University of Saskatchewan is proud to have world class performing ensembles rehearsing and performing right here on the U of S campus.
The Wind Orchestra has been chosen twice to perform at WASBE (World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles in 1989 and 1995) in Europe, three times at the CMEA (Canadian Music Educators Association in 1975, 1979, 1987), and the TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association in 2006).
The Greystone Singers have toured recently to China and received rave reviews. Also, they have won second prize in the National Choral Competitions in the University Choirs category.
Jazz Ensemble 1 has released four cd's!
