With an annual membership of approximately one hundred singers, the popular University Chorus is an excellent example of the community outreach program of the University of Saskatchewan Department of Music since 1965. The Chorus draws approximately half of its membership from the University student body, faculty, and staff, with the remainder consisting of community members from Saskatoon and surrounding area. Besides presenting concerts to Saskatoon audiences and occasionally collaborating with the Regina Philharmonic Chorus, the University Chorus regularly performs choral-orchestral masterworks with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra such as the Requiems of Verdi, Mozart, Duruflé, and Brahms, Haydn's Creation, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Orff's Carmina Burana, and Vaughan William's Sea Symphony.

On November 23rd, they will perform Britten's Ceremony of Carols in a joint concert with the Greystone Singers at Knox United Church. On March 28th, 2015, they will perform the Fauré Requiem with the Greystone Singers and the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra in TCU Place on March 28th, 2015.
