Introduction to 12 Lead ECG Interpretation

A workshop for Registered Nurses, participants will identify the leads of the standard 12 Lead ECG. Topics covered during this advanced 2 day workshop include: defining the anatomical position for the placement of chest and limb lead; determining which portion of the heart each lead "sees"; recognizing ECG changes for ischemia, injury and AMI; differentiating right bundle block from left bundle branch block; as well as identifying left and right ventricular hypertrophy.

COST: $315.00 + GST (Includes all course materials)

Full fees must accompany registration. No post-dated cheques accepted.
Payment will be processed before registration is guaranteed and pre-course materials are mailed.

DEADLINE for registration is 3 weeks prior to the date of the workshop.

REFUND POLICY
The registration fee will be refunded, less an administration fee of $75.00 plus GST if:
Notification of cancellation is received 7 days prior to the date of the workshop, and course material is returned to CEDN.
NO REFUND will be made for cancellations received after the 7 days prior to the workshop.

Terms - Net 30 days from Invoice Date (late payment charges of 1.5% compounded monthly 19.6% yearly on unpaid balances)

Introduction to ECG Rhythm Interpretation

 

In this workshop for Registered Nurses, participants will develop a systematic approach to ECG Interpretation. Topics covered during this 2 day workshop include: recognizing common sinus, atrial and junctional arrhythmias; identifying appropriate management for basic sinus, atrial and junctional arrhythmias; understanding documentation issues with clients on ECG monitors; identifying features of AV blocks, bundle branch blocks and ventricular arrhythmias; as well as identifying appropriate management for basic arrhythmias.
