Post-Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The purpose of the Post-Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PDSBN) option is to recognize previous university achievements of qualified students and give them the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in a shortened period of time. It is available to students who have completed a baccalaureate degree, or have made significant progress toward a degree in another field.
The option provides opportunity for full-time intensive study over six consecutive terms with program completion in less than two calendar years. Students graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Saskatchewan. After successful completion of the national licensure examination, graduates are eligible to apply for licensure with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association (SRNA).
