The College of Nursing is home to a vibrant research community. Research and scholarly initiatives extend provincially, nationally and globally. These initiatives involve extensive multidisciplinary partnerships with communities, health care providers, health research funding bodies, and other educational institutions and units. Research and scholarship inform our faculty's diverse professional practice areas.

Nursing faculty currently are in receipt of numerous tri-council and non-tri council awards, and their work is featured prominently in university-level discussions of areas of existing preeminence in research and emerging areas of research excellence. Continuing our strong track record in timely, innovative, and collaborative research and knowledge translation is a College of Nursing priority for the next planning cycle.

This site serves as a clearinghouse of research and scholarly work information for nursing faculty, students, staff and administrators. One area of priority identified in the University of Saskatchewan 2008-2012 Strategic Plan is to "work together more effectively, across unit and institutional boundaries". To this end, we have structured this site around anticipated research and scholarly-work related questions. Links beneath each question or statement will take you to the central (and therefore most recent) source for information, on campus and beyond. In this way, we hope not to duplicate information that is carefully prepared and updated at each central source.

We hope that you will find this page to be informative and useful.
