How do I know if my study is above or below minimal risk?

TCPS 2 ‑ 2nd Edition of Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans defines minimal risk as "research in which the probability and magnitude of possible harms implied by participation in the research is no greater than those encountered by participants in those aspects of their everyday life that relate to the research." (Article 2.8B)
