Almost every funding opportunity requires the applicant to link their research with institutional, college, or unit strategic priorities as outlined in the funding agency's application procedures.  Links to several of the most frequently referenced documents are included below.In addition, researchers should be familiar with CIHR's Strategy for Patient Oriented Research (SPOR). Note each CIHR institute has its own strategic plan as well.
