Course Overview
U of S nursing education is a four-year program. Students enter the College of Arts and Science to complete one year of pre-professional studies and gain a solid foundation in relevant university education to promote success in the upper-year nursing classes.

* Second Year Anatomy & Physiology Equivalents
Students who already have credit for CHEM 112 and BIOL 120 and wish to obtain credit for the second year requirement in Anatomy & Physiology before being admitted to the second year of the Nursing Program may take one of the following four course combinations for equivalent credit:
- PHSI 208.6 - Human Body Systems
Normally restricted to students in Nursing or Pharmacy & Nutrition. Permission to register for PHSI 208.6 will be on a case by case basis. Complete the class override form and submit to Cindy Wruck in Pharmacology, room A120 Health Sciences building. - Students may not take both BMSC/BIOL 224 and PHSI 208 for credit.
- PHSI 208.6 is the recommended course for the nursing program, however we cannot guarantee it will meet the requirements of other health programs at UofS. Students should consult an undergraduate program advisor in the applicable department of study for details.

Students who have credit for BMSC 210.3 will not be required to take MCIM 224.3 when they are accepted to Nursing.
