The Nursing Graduating Class Fund
Nursing graduation banquet committees often have money left over after the event that they elect to donate to charity. In 2011, nursing students on the committee decided to “pay it forward” and support another nursing student by donating the extra to a student award called The Nursing Graduating Class Fund. That year, the students decided to award a student who displays excellence in core competencies of nursing. Please consider donating the extra from your college fundraising initiatives to another nursing student.
