Graduate Awards & Scholarships

Application Form

There are several scholarships and bursaries available in the College of Nursing Graduate Program at the University of Saskatchewan.

Required documents for awards application:

  • Application form. Click here for form.
  • Financial need calculation (if the award(s) you applied for require it).
    • Financial need calculator is available here.
  • Documents to prove you are eligible for the award(s) you applied for.
    • This could include written explanations or a copy of a document.

The application form and documents must be emailed to nursing.advising@usask.ca. Paper copies will not be accepted.

Canadian Nurses Foundation (CNF)

The Canadian Nurses Foundation (CNF) promotes health and quality patient care in Canada by supporting nursing education and research. CNF Scholarships are available at the Baccalaureate, Master, and Doctoral level and applications will be considered for all awards for which they are eligible. The application deadline is March 31 each year. Application now available online or call toll free: 1-800-367-8404.

Saskatchewan Union of Nurses Scholarships

Saskatchewan Nurses Foundation

The Saskatchewan Nurses Foundation (SNF) is a registered charity that provides financial assistance to eligible nurses whose objective is to enhance their nursing practice by furthering their education in nursing.

The call for applications is now open, all applications must be received by September 30,  at which point they will be reviewed by the committee and applicants will be notified as to the success of their applications.

University of Saskatchewan Student Travel Award Application

The purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students to enable them to participate in academic-related conferences, academic competitions and other formal academic activities. The funding may partially support students' involvement in one of these activities. Students who meet the eligibility criteria may be granted an award.
