Nose-in parking - bylaw 6.2.1 of the University of Saskatchewan Traffic Bylaws states, "Unless any Parking Stall within a Parking Lot is otherwise marked, no Operator shall park a Motor Vehicle in any Parking Lot other than nose-in and 90 degrees to the Curb."

This bylaw is enforced due to damage of electrified parking stall posts and breaker panels caused by parkers backing into the stall and the resulting vehicle encroachment into designated walking paths that occurs at some parking locations as a result of vehicles backing in.
