Metered or Pay-By-Plate Parking

Meters are located throughout the campus (approx 580 spaces). Time limits and prices vary from area to area throughout the campus. Please check the signage. The price and time limit is also printed on the meter. You cannot gain more than the allowed time limit, even if you add more funds.

Parking meters on campus have different time limits and rates.

Methods of Payment

  • Coin - Meters accept Canadian $0.05, $0.10, $0.25, $1.00 and $2.00

Meters for Persons with a Disability

In order to use a meter for a disabled person, (white and blue small meters) one must display a valid University of Saskatchewan disabled permit or a Saskatchewan Abilities placard and pay the appropriate fee. For more information see Parking for Persons with a Disability.  

Faulty Meters

If you suspect a faulty meter, please contact Parking and Transportation Services immediately at 966-4502 or after hours at 966-1850 with the meter identification number (located on the meter face). Meter will then be audited and corrected if necessary. If verified as faulty, the violation MAY be cancelled.

IT IS A VIOLATION TO PARK AT A HOODED METER.
