Alumnus New Saskatchewan Cancer Agency CEO

In spring 2010, the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency announced their Chief Executive Officer is Scott Livingstone. Scott graduated from the College of Pharmacy & Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan in 1988 and a M.Sc. in 1994. Before joining the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, Scott was the executive director of the Health Information Solutions Centre with the Ministry of Health. Alumna receives the APhA Foundation 2010 Pinnacle Award for Leadership in Patient Adherence

Congratulations to Dr. Dorothy Smith, BSP 1968, on receiving the 2010 Pinnacle Award for Leadership in Patient Adherence from the APhA Foundation. Dr. Smith is an internationally recognized pharmacist, author, patient advocate, clinical educator and expert in patient adherence with medications. She has been a pioneer in patient education and safe medication use from the earliest days of her career in pharmacy. Alumnus elected new Chair of the Pharmacists’ Association of Saskatchewan Board

Dr. Kerry Mansell, BSP 1998, has been elected as the Chair of the PAS Board for 2010. Dr. Mansell is an Assistant Professor in the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, University of Saskatchewan. He teaches various pharmacotherapeutic topics, with a focus on diabetes. He is also part of an interdisciplinary diabetes team within the Saskatoon Health Region. Congratulations Kerry!...
