Graduate Students
The Pharmacy and Nutrition Course Council
The Council is the organization representing graduate students in Pharmacy and Nutrition. It is comprised of an elected (or acclaimed) President, Treasurer and up to two other representatives who are also voting representatives on the Graduate Students' Association (GSA) General Council. The Pharmacy and Nutrition Course Council receives a small amount of funding from the GSA student fees collected. The purposes of the Council are to:
- Foster a sense of togetherness and cooperation among graduate students in the College (e.g. plan 1-2 social functions/year);
- Act as a resource of information for graduate students (e.g. Council representatives will welcome and meet with new graduate students, post notices on graduate students' bulletin boards);
- Review and respond to issues that impact on graduate students as the need arises (e.g. work requirements for university scholarship holders; tuition fees);
- Attend GSA Council meetings; and
- Disseminate information to Pharmacy and Nutrition graduate students.
