Founded two University of Saskatchewan spin-off companies:

1. PharmaDerm Laboratories Ltd. – Founded in 1991, merged with Helix BioPharma Inc. in 1999.

   

   Company mandate: to develop topical products based on the Biphasix™ technology;

2. Forte Pharmaceuticals Inc. – Founded in 2002.

   Company mandate: R&D in nanotechnology
