Alumnus New Saskatchewan Cancer Agency CEO

In spring 2010, the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency announced their Chief Executive Officer is Scott Livingstone. Scott graduated from the College of Pharmacy & Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan in 1988 and a M.Sc. in 1994. Before joining the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, Scott was the executive director of the Health Information Solutions Centre with the Ministry of Health. Part of Scott’s role as the executive director was to enhance the province’s health-care by expanding the electronic health record system, so that physicians can make clinical decisions based on the pharmacy information system. Scott’s new role as the CEO of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency will include providing leadership in cancer control, improving access to care, and ongoing health promotion and cancer prevention.
