U of S Pharmacy Student Receives AFPC Award
University of Saskatchewan pharmacy student, Phillip Curran, 3rd year BSP program, received an Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada award to participate in the AFPC Pharmacist-in-Training project for optimizing the use of information and communications technology. Phillip was one of five undergraduate and graduate pharmacy students across Canada to receive $2,000 and will be engaged in various aspects of program development for the Pharmacists-in-Training project. The awards are given to students who have demonstrated leadership, the ability to work independently, interested in the area of infomatics, and who can best assist in the development of an online educational program.
