Emergency Contraceptive Pills (ECP) Training Online CourseContinuing Professional Development for Pharmacists (CPDP) is now offering Emergency Contraceptive Pills (ECP) Training in the form of an On-line course, this course is optional. Pharmacists who take this training will be able to differentiate prevention from termination of pregnancy, will be able to discuss essential educational components with patients, will be able to explain to patients the role of EPC in preventing pregnancy, and to compare available ECP products with respect to efficacy and safety. Needs Assessment -- Continuing Professional Learning will be presenting the 9th Annual Peter and Anna Zbeetnoff Memorial Decision-Making Conference March 2nd and 3rd in Saskatoon. The goal of the Peter and Anna Zbeetnoff Memorial Decision-Making Conference is to provide evidence-based pharmacotherapeutic continuing education for family physicians, community and hospital pharmacists, nurse practitioners, and other health professionals. The conference also provides a forum for the discussion of a current social issue.

Canadian Pharmacists' Association' Practical Resources -- ADAPT (a new innovative patient care skills course)
As scopes of practice change, and pharmacists are enabled and expected to provide more direct patient care and medication management services, the development of both the skills and confidence to use these skills is critical. If you want to elevate your practice to the next level and stand out from the crowd by perfecting your skills in medication assessment, collaboration, documentation, patient interviewing and engagement, evidence-based practice and developing patient care plans...then ADAPT is what you need. ADAPT combines proven practice expertise in a dynamic learning environment using interactive online learning, supportive moderators and plenty of peer interaction. ADAPT is accredited under program number 02CPhA2003-1010UD for 76 CEUs. Funded in part by Health Canada under the Health Care Policy Contribution Program. Course material developed in collaboration with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists and members of the CPhA-CSHP Primary Care Pharmacy Specialty Network.

Natural Standard General Information Session
The used of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) has grown in response to efforts by patients to take a more ative role in their health care. Natural Standard was founded by clinicians and researchers to provide high quality, evidence-based information about CAM to professionals and consumers to help them make safe, educated decisions in this area.
