Professor Rozwadowski joined the Division of Nutrition and Dietetics in July 2001. She is a member of Dietitians of Canada (DC) and the Saskatchewan Dietitian’s Association (SDA). Key areas of interest include: the role of nutrients and phytochemicals in chronic disease prevention, developmental origins of health and disease (DOHaD), and nutrigenomics. With training and experience in media relations, she frequently provides interviews for magazines, radio and television.


Prior to her nutrition career, Professor Rozwadowski first obtained an Honours Microbiology Degree and worked as a molecular biologist for six years in laboratories in Saskatoon, Ottawa, Guelph and Hamilton. She also earned a B.Ed. Degree and has worked as a high school chemistry/biology teacher, as well as developing and teaching chemistry and nutrition courses in adult continuing education programs and community colleges.


Teaching Responsibilities:

Undergraduate courses in Basic Nutrition, Nutrition Throughout the Lifespan, co-supervising Nutrition students in the Professional Practice II course, as well as serving as a guest speaker for a number of other courses in the College. Professor Rozwadowski also instructs the Kelsey Institute section of the Basic Nutrition course, which is required by students studying in the Nursing Education Program for Saskatchewan.
