Agriculture & Bioresources

The College of Agriculture and Bioresources is an interdisciplinary, applied-sciences college with expertise in – and integrated across – three primary scientific and social domains:

  • Safe food supply and bioproducts
  • Sustainable production systems
  • Environment, ecology, community

Agriculture is as much about producing biofuels and managing the environment as it is about growing food. We apply our expertise to the effective, efficient and responsible development and management of our land, water and biological resources.

In everything we do, the College of Agriculture and Bioresources maintains partnerships not only across the network of bioresource industries that includes agriculture, forestry, recreation and conservation, but also with government, and rural and Aboriginal communities.
