The Presidential Search Committee

The committee is made up of individuals who bring academic, research, administrative and community perspectives to the process. The role of the committee is to conduct an extensive search using appropriate means and methods to obtain applications and nominations, such as advertising electronically and in appropriate publications and by soliciting nominations from faculty, other institutions, and through the search consultant. Once a preferred candidate has been identified, the search committee will submit his or her name to the board, along with a comprehensive report outlining the committee's assessment of the candidates. The Board of Governors will make the final decision regarding the selection of the new president.
