Prairie Studies

This program is under review.  Please note that no new students will be accepted into this program.  For students already accepted as majors in this program, the degree requirements are set out below.

Program Chair: M. Kennedy (Archaeology)

The B.A. Prairie Studies is a unique program comprising of an inter-institutional collaboration with the University of Regina and First Nations University. It is designed to meet the requirements for a B.A. Four-year or Honours degree based on Program Type B in the College of Arts and Science. The program provides a general studies degree focusing on the people, culture and landscapes of the Canadian prairies. The program is also distinct in that it will offer students the opportunity to pursue either an on-site or a combination on-site/distance learning B.A. Courses are available through distance learning, on-line, or at one of the three sites (U of S, U of R and FNUC).
