A7 Electives Requirement (27 credit units)

Arts and Science courses, or those from other Colleges that have been approved for Arts and Science credit, to complete the requirements for 120 credit unit Honours program. Of the 120 credit units required at least 66 must be at the 200-level or higher and no more than 60 in one subject.

Students in English programs may take courses in any department of the College of Arts & Science, but a knowledge of classical and biblical literature is especially useful. Students will also find useful complementary courses in the following subject areas: Art; Art History; Classical, Medieval & Renaissance Studies; Classics; Drama; French; German; History; Linguistics; Music; Native Studies; Philosophy; Religious Studies; Spanish; and Women's & Gender Studies.
