Environment & Society
Environment and Society will provide students an interdisciplinary
program that prepares them for employment or further study in a broad
range of areas related to the Environment. Through exposure to science, social science, and humanities perspectives related to the
environment students will develop an understanding of environmental
science, resource management, environmental philosophy, policy, and
environmental studies.
Major Average
The major average in Environment & Society programs includes the grades earned in:
- All courses listed in the Major Requirement J3.
Residency Requirements in the Major
To receive a degree in Environment & Society, students must complete at least two-thirds of the following coursework (to the nearest highest multiple of 3 credit units) from the University of Saskatchewan.

Bachelor of Arts and Science Honours (B.A.& Sc. Honours) - Environment & Society
Honours students must have a 70% CWA overall and in their major in order
to apply to the Honours program. Students must maintain this average
through completion of the degree. There are no additional course
requirements for the Honours degree.
