Common First Year

Students registering in first year in the College of Engineering MUST register in the course sections listed on the College website.

Notes:

Biological Engineering program are advised to take BIOL 120.3 in first year otherwise they must take the course in first term of second year. Students interested in the Pre-Medicine program may find taking 3 credit units of English in the first term of first year to be advantageous.

Chemical Engineering program are advised to take CHEM 115.3 in first year otherwise they must take the course in first term of second year.

Civil or Geological or Environmental Engineering programs are advised to takeGEOL 121.3 in first year, otherwise they must take the course in first term of second year.

Environmental Engineering program must complete BIOL 120.3, CHEM 115.3 andGEOL 121.3 by the end of second year.
