The Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education, University of Saskatchewan, currently offers two M.Ed (Thesis) programs: (1) M.Ed. in School & Counselling Psychology; and (2) M.Ed. with a specialization in either Special Education or Measurement and Evaluation, as well as the M.Ed. course-based option in Educational Psychology and Special Education in either Special Education or Measurement and Evaluation.
Master of Education (M.Ed.) - School and Counseling Psychology
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), or Bachelor of Arts Honours (B.A. Honours), or Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in an area other than Psychology or Education
- at least one year of successful work experience in a human services field

- Must have at least one year of successful work experience in a human services field.
Students applying with 4-year degree other than B.A.(Hon.) in Psychology or B.Ed.
- Must have completed 30 credit units in Psychology and the Educational Psychology prerequisites (i.e. EPSE 258.3 or PSY 213.3 or PSY 214.3; EPSE 390.3; EPSE 417.3 or PSY 257.3; and EPSE 416.3)
- Must have at least one year of successful work experience in a human services field.
