Degree Requirements
Students must maintain a continuous registration in the 994 course.

- GSR 961.0 if research involves human subjects
- GSR 962.0 if research involves animal subjects
- a minimum of 15 credit units, plus the following:
- VLAC 990.0
- VLAC 994.0
- in general, a minimum of 1 academic year must be spent in residence so as to ensure that students fully benefit from participation in the departmental seminars and other interactions with faculty and fellow graduate students
Master of Vetrinary Science (M.Vet.Sc.)
Admission Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) or equivalent

- GSR 961.0 if research involves human subjects
- GSR 962.0 if research involves animal subjects
- a minimum of 30 credit units, plus the following:
- VLAC 990.0
- VLAC 992.0
- In general, a minimum of 1 academic year must be spent in residence so as to ensure that students fully benefit from participation in the departmental seminars and other interactions with faculty and fellow graduate students.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
Non-veterinary graduates may be accepted into non-clinical Ph.D. programs.

- Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Veterinary Science (M.Vet.Sc.)
