Rehabilitation Medicine
Graduate programs leading to the M.Sc. degree in Rehabilitation Medicine are available only to exceptional students on a special case basis.
Prospective students should consult with the Head of the Department concerning the availability of a program in their area of interest.
Research may be taken in the department in several areas:
- Study and analysis of gait patterns
- Measurement of physical therapeutic approaches to reduction of disability
- Use of environmental controls for severely disabled
- Quality control and outcome analysis of rehabilitation process
- Epidemiological studies of specific groups of disabled in Saskatchewan
- Biomedical engineering rehabilitation topics in prosthetics, orthotics, etc.
