Native Studies

The Department of Native Studies offers a graduate program leading to the Master of Arts (M.A.) degree.

Admission requires an Honours degree in Native Studies. Students from allied social science or humanities areas, or from other fields where there has been a focus on Native peoples, will also be considered. All students in this program are required to complete 18 credit units of course work plus a thesis. Required courses are NS 802, NS 803, GSR 960 and GSR  961 (if applicable). Students must also register in NS 990 for one year.
