Plant Sciences

These programs provide training in all aspects of Plant Science including agronomy, biodiversity, biotechnology, crop quality, horticulture, plant breeding, plant ecology, plant pathology, plant physiology, and weed science. Many members of non-university institutions on campus, including Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Plant Biotechnology Institute/NRC are Adjunct Professors. Graduate students may also carry out their thesis research in these institutions.
