Donna is an Assistant Professor at the College of Nursing and holds a certification in Palliative/Hospice Nursing. Her area of research is in quality of care rural and remote and with COPD patients. Her expertise is her clinical perspective and quantitative and mixed method designs. Her role on the grant will be the development and submission of grant proposals in the timely access theme.

Wendy is an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Saskatchewan and an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse. Her research program focuses on psychosocial interventions for palliative home care patients and their families. She leads a multidisciplinary research team which has received 2 international awards for the research documentary "Living with Hope". Currently she is PI on two grants, one funded by the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation and the other CIHR. She brings clinical expertise as well as qualitative and mixed methodology expertise to this research group. She will be will be leading and coordinating the groups’ activities and working with the Native Access Program in nursing staff to mentor Aboriginal graduate students. Her primary research focus will be in the timely access and supporting informal care giving themes.

Angelina is the Clinical Practicum Coordinator of Clinical Psychology Graduate Program at University of Regina and a practicing clinical psychologist. Her research strengths are in narrative methodologies and cultural psychology. She will primarily focus on the culturally competent care theme.

Carrie is an assistant professor at the First Nations University and junior research faculty with IPHRC. She will focus on the culturally competent care theme, foster use of the Indigenous Knowledge System dissemination strategy and facilitate the mentoring of Aboriginal graduate students in the groups’ research.

Mary is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Regina and an associate member of IPHRC. Her program of research is with Aboriginal Peoples and she has expertise in community action research. Her role on the grant will be the development and submission of grant proposals in the cultural competent care and supporting informal support themes. She also has experience in the development of websites and videos associated with the theme of innovative approaches for research and knowledge transfer. She will also be actively involved mentoring Aboriginal graduate students.

Anne is a NCIC funded CCS research Scientist , Associate Professor, Dept. of Community Health & Epidemiology, University of Saskatchewan and Director; NCIC funded Saskatchewan Cancer Control Research Program. She has training in health psychology, community health and epidemiology. The psychosocial aspects of cancer constitute the main focus of her research. Areas of interest include complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), quality of life, palliative care, health services research, spirituality, qualitative research mentions and cross cultural issues. She currently co-lead a national research team on cancer and complementary and alternative medicine and is a leader of the CAM stream in a CIHR funded Cross-cultural New Emerging Team in Palliative Care. She has experience with the use of the Saskatchewan Health Database and has funded research with cancer patients. Her role on the grant will be the development and submission of grant proposals in the culturally competent care and timely access themes.
