Terms of Reference for the UCACS

The University Committee on Animal Care and Supply (UCACS) is a university-wide committee. The UCACS Terms of Reference define its membership and operations. The UCACS Terms of Reference were approved by Council in October 1999 and most recently have been updated and approved by the UCACS in November 2008.

The administration of the University’s animal care and use program and the University Committee on Animal Care and Supply (UCACS) office is in the process of moving into the Research Ethics Office – once this merger with the REO is complete, the revised Terms of Reference will be provided to University Council for formal approval as a Univeristy of Saskatchewan Policy on Experimental Animal Care and Use.
