Jason's Bio Enriquillo Valley, Dominican Republic in South America
University of Saskatchewan geology student Jason Brasseur is the first student to participate in the project. Brasseur traveled to the Dominican Republic under the supervision of professor William Patterson this summer. He worked in the Enriquillo Valley to study the exposed Holocene reefs. Divided into different project groups upon arrival, Brasseur focused his work on isotopic analysis, which he is studying under Patterson. Another U of S student, Fina Nelson, helped Brasseur with the journal and was a major part of the project. The Keck Geology Cosortium and the U of S funded the field work. Journal Entries>>
