Final Thoughts and Acknowledgements January 2, 2006
This was my first opportunity to work in the field and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Dominican Republic and learned a great deal. Being able to work with knowledgeable and skilled academics like Lisa Greer, Al Curran, Neil Tibert and Bill Patterson allowed me to gain valuable experience at conducting field work.
I enjoyed being able to work with fellow students, especially such a well rounded group of dedicated people. Having this opportunity to do a project based on my own field work will be a great learning experience and help prepare me for future projects.

I look forward to presenting our findings at the Keck conference early next year. I would like to thank the Keck Consortium for giving me this opportunity, Lisa Greer for leading our trip and the University of Saskatchewan for providing additional funding.
