Laurel provides strategic leadership, direction, and expertise in the overall management of the International Research Office (IRO). She works to ensure that the university community takes full advantage of major international funding initiatives.
Responsibilities of the office include identifying research and training opportunities supported by Canadian and international research, training and government agencies. We also assist with proposal development and implementing support systems such as workshops, information sessions and individual consultations in order to improve the quality and quantity of applications.
