Awards Facilitator Profile

 

Carolyn Paterson is the Awards Facilitator at the University of Saskatchewan.  Carolyn works with faculty and university leaders to identify opportunities for nomination of our outstanding researchers and scholars for national and international awards.

Carolyn earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Microbiology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2003 and went on to complete a Ph.D at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization at the University of Saskatchewan.  The recipient of numerous awards and scholarships during her graduate and undergraduate career, Carolyn now applies her experience with awards applications to faculty whose outstanding research deserves recognition.  She joined the Office of the Vice-President Research in the position of Awards Facilitator in October 2011.
