CIHR Knowledge Translation Award

Description:The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Knowledge Translation Award honours and supports teams or organizations that make an outstanding contribution to the health of Canadians or to the health system through exemplary knowledge translation. The aim of the award is to recognize excellence in knowledge translation at the national and international level, and to provide financial support to further foster excellence in knowledge translation in Canada.

Eligibility:Eligible candidates are teams or organizations working in Canada in the health field on knowledge translation activities related to research into the mechanics of knowledge translation. For further details and CIHR's definition of "knowledge translation," see website.
Value:A certificate of recognition and a grant of $100,000
Application Procedures:Anyone with direct knowledge of the contribution of the nominee(s) can nominate. Nominators can be colleagues, or people who have benefited from the nominee's activities.
