The Tenant will give notice to the Landlord within fourty-eight (48) hours of the presence of vermin, bedbugs, insects, or other infestations within the Room ("Infestation"). The Tenant understands that this is an ongoing problem with significant cost expense for the Landlord and agrees to assist in its eradication. Failure to provide notice to the Landlord forthwith after discovery of the Infestation within the aforesaid fourty-eight (48) hour period will result in the Tenant being liable to repay the Landlord for all costs associated with rectifying the problem and/or immediate termination of the Agreement and eviction, at the discretion of the Landlord.
Any and all infestations (rodents, insects, etc.) should be reported to the Residence Office (residence@usask.ca / 966-6775) immediately.
Tenants who report a rodent or insect problem before it spreads will not be invoiced for the cost of treatment.
