College Quarter Residence (CQ) is the newest building located in the College Quarter development project. With 250 bed spaces for single students scheduled to open in September 2011 and an additional 140 in January 2012, CQ offers a unique residence experience in a brand new building. CQ will be a truly multicultural experience with programming that reflects the diverse make up of its residents. There will be academic support initiatives, opportunities to become involved in anything from sports to arts to community projects. This building will have a mixture of Canadian and International Students who will have the opportunity to participate in a co-curricular experience.
Our intent is to build a community that encourages the active participation of students in the development of leadership skills, social and global awareness, personal responsibility, while celebrating individuality and creating a connection to the University of Saskatchewan.
Students will live in fully furnished four bedroom apartments. There are a limited number of three bedroom accessible apartments available as well. Furnishings include: a dining table/ island and chairs, fridge, stove, living room furniture, desks, chairs, beds, and built-in closets. All you need to bring is your own cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, linen and enthusiasm for being part of this vibrant community. Please note that the bedroom sizes within each apartment do vary.
